Cake Classes
Appleyard Bakery is proud to be able to offer cake classes!
Whether you are an absolute beginner or have been baking for friends and families for years there is a cake class suitable for everyone. We offer face to face group classes as well as virtual ones where requested.
Please drop us an enquiry for any cake classes you would like more info about, whether it is for groups or 1-2-1 sessions, we tailor each class to you ( Enquiry form at bottom of page).

1-2-1 Cake Classes
If you would like the full and undivided attention to work on some specific skills this is the one for you! Pop us an enquiry to set up a call. during the call we will have a little chat about what your current cake skills are and what you would like to be able to achieve. This could lead to a one off session or maybe even a few to get you to be Master Baker in no time.
Classes take place on weekends only at my home bakery. Cakesicle Class £75.
Bento Cake Class £85.
Celebration Cake Class starting from £125.
Group Classes
Fancy doing something a little different with your besties, hen party or family? We got you covered! We will come to your house or another venue of your choice to set up with a bunch of cupcakes or other treats for you to decorate and the best bit is you get to eat them all ( or take a doggy bag).
Drop us a message for a customise quote, we create each class specifically to you.
Starting from £45/person. If you would like a cake class with more than 6 attendees then please do let us know and we will look at sourcing external venue alongside this which will occur additional costs.
Equipment
Want to include goodie bags of equipment for any of the classes so you can re-create the treats at home? This could include for example cupcake cases, cakesicle moulds, our favourite colours and sprinkles. Just let us know and we will add a quote for this.
A few things to keep in mind
Allergies - we won't be able to cater to just one person in the group, to ensure that there are no issues/ cross contamination around allergens we would need the full group to make the same ( ie everyone gluten free or dairy free). However we can cater to allergens within the 1-2-1 classes.
Alcohol - we are more than happy for anyone over the age of 18 to enjoy their favourite tipple during class, however we are unable to provide the alcohol due to licensing laws, so please bring your own.
Timelines - we require at least 2 weeks notice to be able to run a class as each class is personalised to each session
